Dead Island 2 is Bringing the Zombie Plague to Steam This April 22nd!

After originally releasing as an Epic Exclusive back in April 2023, Dead Island 2 is finally coming to Steam on April 22nd, 2024.

To catch you up, Dead Island 2 is based in Los Angeles, also known as HELL-A, in the Dead Island 2 universe. A zombie plague has rapidly spread throughout the city, causing the few survivors to seek refuge in key locations. Choose one of six survivors, each with their own personality and abilities as they try to survive the zombie onslaught in HELL-A.

Players can use the brand-new skill card system to customize their character's abilities, allowing you to achieve the utmost efficiency in your zombie slaying. To enhance your experience, Dead Island 2 features the all-new F.L.E.S.H (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids) system, which allows you to dismember and eviscerate zombies in greater detail than ever before!

Use a variety of weapons, environmental hazards, and your friends in the 4-player co-op mode to take down the zombie horde! Just be careful of all the different mutations you'll run into during your stay in HELL-A!

Dead Island 2 launches on Steam on April 22nd, 2024. We don't have any pricing or Steam Deck compatibility rating yet, but it will have full controller support.

To celebrate the launch of Dead Island 2, Dead Island Riptide - Definitive Edition is free to keep on Steam for the next 48 hours. Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Retro Revenge are also available at an 85% and 75% discount respectively.
