Viking Sandbox Survival Game 'ASKA' Is Running a Closed Beta April 15-21!

Sand Sailor Studio has announced that they will be running a closed beta test for their upcoming Viking Sandbox Survival Builder game ASKA from April 15th to April 21st. If you want to participate in the beta yourself, you'll need to wishlist the game on Steam and then join the game's Discord server by April 5th.

New players in ASKA will find themselves shipwrecked upon an island, where they must create a new Viking empire. Playable either by yourself or with up to three friends, you'll be gathering resources to survive and build a village that can be inhabited by intelligent NPC villagers.

That's not all though, this land can be harsh, and you'll need to prepare yourself and your tribe for the harsh winters you'll face. Automate, manage and defend your tribe against the threats that abound on this mysterious island.

ASKA is available to wishlist now on Steam. The upcoming closed beta will run from April 15-21, and sign-ups close on April 5th. We don't know how well this game would run on Steam Deck, there is partial controller support, but the system requirements are on the higher end. The developers also state they have not designed the game with the Steam Deck in mind, and it isn't a priority for them right now.
