Another Crab's Treasure Getting Free Content Update with New Game+ and More

Another Crab's Treasure was a unique underwater souls-like game that launched almost a year ago, and now, to celebrate the game's anniversary, a free content update is being released on April 21st, entitled, Year of the Crab.

The developers pointed out that New Game+ was the most requested feature from the community, so they're pleased to confirm that the update will add the mode to the game.

What else does this new Another Crab's Treasure update add to the game, besides New Game+?

Well, you'll see new upgrades added to the game as well as some new unlockables, more costumes for Kril, a Boss Rush mode, and new achievements/trophies to obtain!

New Game+ is also more than just scaled-up enemies, as the team has added new attacks by bosses, new items, and switched up enemy encounters, so there'll be some surprises compared to a standard playthrough of the game.

Another Crab's Treasure is available now on Steam for $29.99. It is rated as "Verified" on the Steam Deck, so it should be a pretty decent experience overall.
