Did You Know?
Did you know that you can use the Steam Link Windows 10 and MacOS app to stream your Steam Deck to your desktop? Because we didn't. Want to know what's worse? It released back in February of 2021.
This is a great way to keep your Deck charging wherever it lives while still being able to connect to it and use a keyboard and mouse.

One note: I have a 4k monitor and it did not scale well in game mode. I would only use this when in desktop mode. This is a great tool for tinkering with your Steam Deck.
Download the Steam Link desktop app for Windows 10 from Valve, download from the MacOS App Store or check out the community discussion on steamcommunity.com.

Would love to know how to get windowed mode to work in macOS.
It seems to force you into Fullscreen each time the app connects to the deck.
Then it captures the mouse and prevents using it outside of that screen.
If you create a new shortcut with the Target "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam Link\SteamLink.exe" --windowed You will not start in full screen mode and be set.
