Over the past week, we had a ton of amazing games get their Steam Deck Verified and Playable badges, that it was really hard to choose what to put here! Beyond Galaxyland and SKALD both got their green checkmarks, while the upcoming Suikoden 1+2 HD Remaster collection got its badge 4 months before the game is set to release!
Here are the 12 highlights we found:
Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Beyond Galaxyland (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Beyond Shadowgate (Verified)
The original design of the never-before seen point and click adventure has been brought to life after 30+ years in the vault - Beyond Shadowgate! This new massive game (created by the designer of the original hit Shadowgate and a leading 8-bit adventure studio) is 5 TIMES BIGGER than NES Shadowgate!
The game is $17.99 and is rated Verified.
Suikoden 1+2 HD Remaster (Playable)
The game is available for pre-purchase for $49.99 ahead of its March 6th release date and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.
ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree (Playable)
Shadow of the Erdtree is an expansion to ELDEN RING, the 2022 Game of the Year. Dark and intense, Shadow of the Erdtree has players continue their quest with the freedom to explore and experience the adventure at their own pace.
The expansion is $39.99 and requires the base version of Elden Ring to use. It is rated Playable due to the need to manually configure graphics settings to perform well and you need to manually quit via Steam Overlay. This is a unique rating as the DLC has a different rating than the base game (Verified), so it's a bit odd.
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (Verified)
Step into Japan's criminal underworld in this explosive action brawler starring legendary yakuza, Kazuma Kiryu, who is hellbent on unraveling the truth around his daughter's tragic accident.
The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.
Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland (Verified)
When Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil see a commercial for the new Reptar video game, they pretend that they're in a video game of their own! Toggle between beautiful 8-bit and HD art, select your favorite baby and play solo or co-op in Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland, a neo-retro platformer.
The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.
Windblown (Verified)
Brave the Vortex and dash your way to greatness in this lightning-fast action roguelite for 1-3 players from the crafters of Dead Cells. Absorb the powers of fallen warriors, rebuild their weapons, and WIPE THE FLOOR with those Sentinels in search of that perfect run!

Parcel Corps (Playable)

TCG Card Shop Simulator (Playable)
Open your own local game store. Stock shelves with the latest booster packs, or crack them and collect the cards for yourself. Set your own prices, hire staff, host events, and expand your card shop.
The game is $12.99 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, and small in-game text.
Iron Meat (Verified)
Iron Meat is a run-and-gun arcade shooter that immerses players in an apocalyptic future overrun by "The Meat," an iron-ravenous mass mutating everything in its path. Blast your way through retro-inspired stages and bosses to uncover the shocking horrors behind secret experiments on the Moon.

Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers (Verified)
Battle your way through a seedy tavern filled with gambling addicted townspeople in this Blackjack Roguelike Adventure. From aces and face cards to tarot cards, business cards and more, create your unique deck to beat the house.
