At the Future Games Show, international indie game developer TomorrowHead Studio debuted its first game, WILL: Follow The Light, with its first trailer. With a PC release scheduled for 2025, WILL: Follow The Light is expected to bring a realistic first-person adventure that traverses the stunning and harsh northern landscapes.

A narrative-driven adventure, WILL: Follow The Light takes players on an adventure across dangerous seas and untamed Nordic coastlines. The player assumes the role of Will, a mariner, as he searches the frozen, dangerous north for his kid who has gone missing. The developers are aiming to bring the experience to life with a high level of realism, featuring a sailing yacht piloted with authentic controls, developed in collaboration with experienced arctic voyagers.

Players will experience a range of emotions as they face the isolation of the open sea, navigate violent thunderstorms, and involve themselves in a story that highlights the value of family and care through the game's exploration of the complicated relationship between a father and son. In addition to going deep emotionally, players will face challenges on land and sea, solving puzzles based on real-life situations, navigating with a realistic system, and solving mysteries while dog sledding through snowy trails.

"We have been collaborating on WILL for over two years, so today's announcement is a thrilling moment for our team. At TomorrowHead, we are inspired by some of the best games in the genre and what they do so well – Firewatch’s feeling of escape and loneliness… Alan Wake’s visuals and atmosphere – and we have invested deeply in art and technology to bring players a narrative adventure that will see players exploring the world in a whole new way. We’re looking forward to revealing more later this year.”
