In this awesome preview, the trailer goes into 7 weapon types that include:

  • 1-Handed Swords - The most versatile of the weapon types and very capable in difficult situations. The skills it will use include counter-attacks and SP recovery.
  • Dual Wield - By wielding 2 1-handed swords, you can achieve higher damage output, but there is a greater possibility of being interrupted by enemies.
  • Rapier - Utilizing multi-stage evasion skills, you will be able to speed up activating other skills or create duplicates of yourself to nullify attacks.
  • Bow - A ranged attack option that hinders enemy movements. It is capable of assisting ally attacks and debuffing enemies, making it very versatile.
  • Dagger - An aerial weapon type that is capable of buffing and debuffing. The skills it has can cut enemy's range and attack from behind.
  • Katana - A weapon type that will inflict bleed effects to deal damage over time with high damage skills.
  • Scythe - A tricky weapon that inflicts damage yourself. You will need to balance skills that take away your health and ones that absorb enemy HP.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is an upcoming Action RPG from Bandai Namco that will be based on Sword Art Online's War of Underworld Anime arc. With Kirito and friends, you will have to unmask the Dark Knight and survive against the forces of the Dark Territory.

You can check out the game now on Steam where you can wishlist or pre-order for $60. Checking out the minimum requirements on the store page, the GPU is a little bit on the heavy side, but with only needed 4gb of RAM, I have a feeling this can be configured to run well on the Steam Deck!
