There are a couple of games I know of where the developers are still updating the game periodically with fixes or major content. VVVVVV is one of these games. Released in 2010, this game is still getting periodic updates to improve it and keep it enjoyable for all of us. Yesterday, one of those new updates was released, and it brought with it more Steam Deck support.
In this update, the newest one after two years, VVVVVV was officially brought up to a Steam Deck Verified status. Unsurprisingly, the game is already running quite well and didn't need any updates to it for the justified Verified badge, but here we are! The biggest change for the Deck is the game launching automatically in full screen with any windowing options removed from the graphics menu.
Otherwise, the game had a bunch of improvements across the board. The game added some localization with 21 new languages being added, but there was so much more. Button glyphs were added, you can skip the credits and ending picture, and there were a plethora of changes across the board really.
There are too many changes to list, so if you'd like to see them all, you can check out the changelog on the VVVVVV wiki page.
VVVVVV is available on Steam for $4.99 and is rated Verified. It also has a native Linux build, and that is always wonderful to support!
