Surprise! Hades 2 is Now Available on Steam Early Access

I will be completely honest. I didn't expect Hades 2 to be released without some form of a release date announcement coming before it, even if it was just a day, but here we are. Out of nowhere, Hades 2 has become available on Steam Early Access, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Hades 2 is $29.99 on Steam and is in Early Access. From the early access information, the developers say the full version of Hades 2 will have a complete set of features in both content and functionality, with a major update released every few months (followed by some patches to clean up issues that arise). The game already has more content than the original Hades, which is amazing, but there's no exact point the team has decided on for the duration of early access. The price may rise as early access continues.

This was completely out of nowhere, and I couldn't be happier! The game was just given the Steam Deck Verified badge, and after testing the Technical Test last month, I am confident that this game deserves the green checkmark. And yes, I have already purchased the game, so I will be diving into it as soon as I am done writing this article!

This is not a game you will want to miss if you own a Steam Deck, so do yourself a favor and buy it!
