Playing Street Fighter 6 just got even better thanks to a new fix from Valve! There were a plethora of reports submitted to Valve that playing Street Fighter 6 without an internet connection resulted in intermittent freezing every 30 seconds on the Steam Deck. Today, in a tweet from Pierre-Loup Griffais, this issue is now fixed in a new patch that will be downloaded automatically when you boot up the game:
If you are still experiencing this issue, go ahead and restarting the game and turning off the wifi or going to Offline Mode. Valve has been on-point making sure games are working and patches are coming out in a timely manner, so this one continues that incredible trend of support they have been showing! Now, we can truly fight on-the-go.
