Another week, another set of Verified/Playable Steam Deck games! This week didn't have nearly as many games that were tested due to it being after Christmas and right before New Years, but it still has a couple awesome games to check out! Here are the highlights we found.

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing right out-of-the-box. Some of these games require work to optimize and play well.

DUSK DIVER (Verified)

Dusk Diver is an anime style beat-em-up action game. In this single player experience, you are an ordinary high school girl, tasked to fight against phantoms who dare to enter the realm of man. Use light and heavy attacks to chain up combo moves, summon Guardians, and use your ultimate to eliminate all enemies.

The game is $35 and rated verified.

THE SIGNAL FROM TÖLVA (Playable)

Delve into science fiction mystery as you investigate the haunting highlands of Tölva. You must survive terrible hazards, navigate through impossible spaces, and fight an ongoing battle in order to control this blighted world. In this first-person shooter open-world game, you will make use of a range of powerful tools to overcome your enemies. You will uncover secrets, hack robots to battle alongside you, equip powerful weapons, and detonate savage defense systems to survive. What you discover will decide the fate of a world. Will the trail lead you to enlightenment, or something more sinister?

The game is $20 ($5 on sale) and rated playable due to some small in-game text that and needing to use the virtual keyboard.

FALLBACK (Playable)

Lead the rebellion in this epic rogue-like adventure. Guide your jet-pack equipped post-apocalyptic volunteers through an underground complex by jumping, dodging, and battling against robot minions (and masters) to get to the surface and bring life back to the scorched Earth. With over 50 skills to unlock, you will have the chance to come back stronger each time you die while earning experience to improve your gear and become the perfect fighter.

The game is $10 ($3 on sale) and rated playable due to some small in-game text, needing to use the virtual keyboard, and needing to change resolution settings in-game.

GARAGE : BAD TRIP (Playable)

Garage is a bloody topdown shooter inspired by VHS era B-movies with unique gameplay that combines survival, ammo management, shoot ’em up, and racing. Explore the dark hallways of underground parking and find a passage to the hidden obscure underworld utilizing new weapons to survive. Let's hope you can solve the mystery of this cursed place and the monsters that inhabit it.

The game is $15 ($4 on sale) and rated playable due to needing to use the virtual keyboard and some in-game text that may difficult to read.

THE SOLUS PROJECT (Playable)

Earth has been destroyed and mankind lingers on in a small fleet of ships near Pluto. As humanity's last hope, you are sent to scout a distant planet as a potential location for a new colony. After years of space travel disaster strikes, however, your ship is destroyed when approaching the planet. As you explore the seemingly desolate land, you will uncover the dark secrets buried within the depths.

The game is $20 and rated playable due to small in-game text.

KINDERGARTEN (Playable)

Welcome to Kindergarten! Have fun trying to learn and share...and not die. In a school that's just not quite right, it's important to be friendly...and take out those that aren't. Kindergarten is an abstract puzzle adventure game where you play as a student who just wants to survive.

The game is $5 ($2.49 on sale) and rated playable due to showing non Steam Deck controller icons.
