This week, we have some great new games that were given the Steam Deck Verified/Playable badge! WHAT THE CAR? got the Verified badge ahead of its release today, and DOOM + DOOM 2 finally got the green checkmark as well! We also have Volgarr the Viking 2 and Sumerian Six that got the Playable badge, and Yars Rising is rated Verified before its release tomorrow.

DOOM + DOOM 2 (Verified)

Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993 and 1994, the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM + DOOM II are available as a combined product.

The game is $9.99 and rated Verified.

Volgarr the Viking 2 (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Volgarr the Viking II is a hardcore, 2D action-platformer where precision is everything and one false move can spell a brutal death. Players of the original game will feel right at home on this relentless voyage, even with the addition of new power-ups, new forms of magic, new enemy types, and a chest-thumping new soundtrack.

The game is on sale for $15.99 (20% Off until September 16th) and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Sumerian Six (Playable)

Lead an unlikely team of commando scientists behind enemy lines to fight Nazis, uncover arcane mysteries, and wield experimental technology to turn the tide of WWII in this real-time tactical stealth adventure.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.

Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery (Playable)

Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery is a cozy hidden object game that has you searching for hidden objects in hand-drawn, interactive landscapes. Ignite your imagination, unleash your inner artist with the editor and share your masterpieces with the world!

The game is $10.99 and rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons.

Yars Rising (Verified)

From the renowned development studio WayForward Technologies, Inc. (Shantae, River City Girls, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp) comes Yars Rising, a 2D action adventure exploration of one of Atari’s richest, and best known classic titles.

The game releases tomorrow, September 10th, and is rated Verified.

METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED (Verified)

METAL SLUG, the classic action shooter, retains its detailed 2D pixel look and is now a tower defense game with beginner-friendly controls!

The game is $9.99 and rated Verified.

3 Minutes to Midnight (Verified)

In a race against time, Betty embarks on a thrilling, comedy-packed adventure to crack a conspiracy that starts with a bang and ends at 3 Minutes to Midnight.

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

You Suck at Parking (Verified)
