Managing a bathouse is hard to do, especially when you're the only one who can get the irritating spirits to come and take a load off. Luckily, a new update for Spirittea is here, adding in cloud save support and making it easier to swap between PC and Steam Deck without losing your progress.
Per the new update, we now have Steam Cloud support, which will automatically backup your save game progress into Steam. This means that, whenever you are connected to the internet and start the game, it will download your updated save that was automatically uploaded when you closed the game before. As someone that tends to go between his desktop PC, Steam Deck, and a plethora of other handhelds, this feature has become more and more necessary to have.
There were some other updates as well, including some bug fixes and stopping Fae from randomly calling you Dan, but the cloud saves are definitely the biggest update here! There will also be a new update soon to continue fixing up even more of those pesky issues.
Spirittea is currently on sale for $17.99 until November 20th and is rated Verified for the Steam Deck. Seeing the style of game, I would have been very surprised if this wasn't great to play on the Deck thanks to the lower system requirements, full controller support, and now, cloud saves!
