A Quiet Place - one of the most popular movie franchises in recent years - is coming to computers! Saber Interactive announced today that A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will launch later this year. It will be developed by Stormind Games, and the teaser highlights the great horrors that the films became so well known for!

In this world terrorized by alien creatures that hunt from sound, you play a young woman torn between surviving the apocalypse and surviving the turmoils of her own family. This promises to be a brutal ride, and you must explore the ruins of human civilization to survive... but like the movies, any sound can spell death. While the Steam page tags A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead as a walking simulator, the deep survival mechanics, coupled with scarce supplies, give me Amnesia: The Bunker vibes.

It's going to be an interesting second half of the year! I'm intrigued by how well The Quiet Place translates into a video game. Will you pick this up? Let us know!
