Rising Storm 2 Proton Experimental

A new update has been released for Proton Experimental that brings in some fixes that were in the Proton Hotfix branch and makes some games playable again. Both The Finals and Studio System: Guardian Angel got their fixes from Proton Hotfix brought over, while Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam are both playable again.

The new Proton Experimental update should automatically download if you already have the experimental layer. If not, just search for Proton Experimental in the Steam store on your Steam Deck and download.

Proton Experimental 2/19.25 Update Changelog:

  • Now playable: Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army.
  • Fixed input not working with Studio System : Guardian Angel. (previously in Proton Hotfix)
  • Fixed The Finals crashing after a recent game update. (previously in Proton Hotfix)
  • Fixed Proton 9 regressions:
    • Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is playable again.
