We Love Katamari on Proton Experimental

A couple of days ago, a new Proton Experimental update was released, making new games playable, fixing regressions, and fixing issues within specific games, and on top of those, we also have controller support enabled for some game launchers! Specifically, this affects Red Faction, Skyrim, Clustertruck, and Mugsters, so, with Proton Experimental, you should be able to completely control the launcher menu with your gamepad.

We also have a couple of new playable games: Insantiy's Blade and Bloody Walls, and we got some improved performance in We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie. There are also fixes for Nightingale, Shatterline, Call of Juarez, Total War: Warhammer 2, and Summer Islands! It's a great update overall, and makes games a lot more playable on the Steam Deck in terms of performance and gamepad support!

Proton Experimental 4/12/24 Update Changelog:

  • Now playable: Insanity's Blade, Bloody Walls.
  • Enable controller support in the launcher of Red Faction, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (72850), Clustertruck, Mugsters via Xalia.
