Global game publisher GRYPHLINE is bringing its latest project POPUCOM to Steam Next Fest, offering a free, playable demo from October 14th to October 21st, 2024. This vibrant multiplayer cooperative puzzle platformer, created by the same team that brought you Arknights, invites players to get together for some lighthearted fun. Although it has previously appeared at PAX West and Gamescom, this is the first time that players can download the game through Steam.

Players get to step into a colorful, mysterious parallel universe in POPUCOM. Up to four players can play cooperatively in the game with support for online or local split-screen modes. You can play through seven different levels in this demo, solving puzzles with a "Rainbow Popper" that shoots colored bullets that match to pop the annoying Pomus. The bright graphics, captivating gameplay, and cooperative gameplay should make for an enjoyable puzzle-solving experience.

Even though I've always loved puzzle platformers, POPUCOM looks really unique and interesting so I’m looking forward to trying it out. I like how it seems to fuse match-3 components with physics-based puzzles. The gameplay is made more charming and varied by the addition of quirky characters like Captain Kitty and Rollo the Bomb. It can be played both locally and online, which makes it adaptable to a variety of play styles. However, I'm interested in seeing how the online cooperative initially plays out. Will it be a smooth or janky experience? Time will tell! Looking forward to testing it out during Steam Next Fest!

POPUCOM will be available for download on Steam later this year. A demo of the game will be accessible from October 14th to October 2st1 during Steam Next Fest. This is a fantastic chance to enjoy the vibrant, cooperative fun before the official release. Why not Pop over to their Steam page now?
