Since I first tried Persona 5 Strikers on the Steam Deck, there has been 1 main issue plaguing it. The game could run perfectly fine and be a great game for the Deck, but unfortunately, the audio in the cutscenes never worked. I tried many different methods, but it seemed hopeless...until today!

Persona 5 Strikers Audio Fix

5 days ago, a ProtonDB user named Swish posted his report on the Persona 5 Strikers page with a launch option that fixes the cutscene audio completely! It seems the problem actually stems from a gstreamer plugin protonaudioconverterbin, so disabling it brings the cutscene audio back.

To fix this, you will need to force compatibility with Proton GE, I tested this with GE 8-4 myself, and a launch option. You can follow our guide on getting Proton GE, but you will have to either copy-paste or type in the launch command. You will be able to find where to put this in the general preferences of the game at the very bottom:

After this, just go ahead and launch the game and you should be all set to enjoy it fully! And big thanks to Swift for figuring this out and posting about it!
