During Gamescom, ATLUS announced some new information for their 2 upcoming Persona games, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica. We finally got a release date for the former, and a ton of new information, while the latter had an awesome new trailer detailing more about its battle system. So let's talk about what's new!

Persona 3 Reload - Release Date Revealed

Starting off, we finally have a release date for Persona 3 Reload. The game will be released on Feburary 2nd of next year and is available now to pre-order on Steam for $69.99. If you pre-order, you will also get access to the Persona 4 Golden Background Music DLC. The announcement was accompanied by 2 brand new trailers. The first one is a gameplay showcase that gives us a look at not only battle gameplay, but the awesome background music that wil accompany it.

Then, we had another trailer that looked a bit closer at S.E.E.S. or the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad. This is the group you will work with to destroy the shadows. It will also show off the members and the goals of the group:

There was also a bit more revealed about the game, its music, and some character art in a recent FAMITSU interview.

Persona 5 Tactica - Battle Gameplay Trailer

While the bulk of the showing was Persona 3 Reload, we did have a brand new gameplay trailer that focused on battling. In the trailer, we get to know more about the battle mechanics like the Triple Threat attack, difficulty levels, progression, skill trees, and more. We also get to see a little bit of the DLC Challenge Pack, "Repaint Your Heart", which features new characters, battles, and game rules.
