The next Proton Experimental update has been released, and it has some interesting improvements across the board. Apex Legends has been fixed here, bringing over the quick hotfix from the Proton Hotfix branch, font rendering is improved in Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop, and we can now watch videos in Twisted Sails again.
We also have new controller support for different launchers that are brought up by games. This includes Tomb Raider: Legend and Anniversary, Fallout 3 and 4, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. This is made possible by Xalia, a program that provides Gamepad UI controls for more traditional desktop applications.
The Proton Experimental update will automatically be added to your downloads if you have the layer installed. If you don't, go to your Steam store search bar on the Steam Deck and search for "Proton Experimental" and download it.
