Murky Divers looks like the co-op game that divers will have a field day with. You and your team are sent into the waters to erase evidence of failed experiments from abandoned labs from Pharma Corps. Disposing of dead bodies, or parts of them, will be your main job, though you guys are not alone and will need to look out for horrible monsters lurking within and manage your oxygen levels. It looks awesome, and I am so happy to see that we can finally play this on the Steam Deck!
With the new update yesterday, which is the first major update for the game, we now have controller support with mapping and optimized compatibility with the Steam Deck! This means we will be able to enjoy taking the experience on the go with better controls and the ability to map them as we see fit.
But that's not all. We also have a whole new biome, which takes you through deep caves, new creatures and ways of interacting with them, brand new items (like the scooter), new submarine stations and ways to upgrade your sub, new swimming suits to show off some variety, and some smaller improvements here and there. The team has clearly been hard at work, seeing as this major update has only been released a month after the early access launch, and it's just amazing to see.
You can check out the full changelog via the Steam Community Post.
Murky Divers is available on Steam for $5.99.
