The team over at XSEED Games has released a new video for Rune Factory 3 Special, showcasing the bachelorettes you will encounter in this expanded and re-imagined version of the game.

The video introduces the 11 bachelorettes that Micah will encounter during his journey. Rune Factory 3 Special features a vast cast of romance-able ladies including:

  • Shara - A sweet lady who talks to flowers
  • Raven - A blacksmith assistant that hates small talk
  • Marian - An apprentice witch and doctor (in-training)
  • Collette - A woman that really wants her body to grow when she eats
  • Carmen - An avid fishing lover
  • Pia - The head honcho of Paradise Bathhouse
  • Daria - A proud artist who wants to make the world a more colorful place
  • Sakuya - A woman who wants to be independent and one day run her mother's inn
  • Sofia - A confusing, wealthy girl who speaks in opposites
  • Karina - A lazy, relaxed woman who likes shiny things
  • Kuruna - The leader of the settlement who cares about everyone

You can't go wrong with any choice here, though personally, I will be going for Pia. Simply because regardless of the reason, she cares 110%. And also, who doesn't like free trips to the bathhouse?

Rune Factory 3 Special is returning more than ten years after its original release on the Nintendo DS. With the remaster, you can expect HD graphics and redesigned character models that improve upon the original designs while keeping their distinct charms. In addition, this redesign will include new features such as “Newlywed Mode,” which feature individual adventures for each of the game’s bachelorettes, and can be unlocked after each marrying each, and a “Hell” difficulty designed for veterans of the series and RPG fans who are ready for an intense challenge.

Rune Factory 3 Special - Steam Deck Speculation

With Rune Factory 4 and 5 released on Steam already, we can gauge how Rune Factor 3 could run on the Steam Deck. Both 4 and 5 are rated playable and do run quite well on the Deck. Considering that this is a remaster for a DS game released in 2009, I have little doubt this will run well on the Steam Deck! Personally, this feels like it would be a perfect game to take portably, so here's hoping!

Rune Factory 3 Special will be available on September 5th and can be wishlisted on Steam now!
