We have been enjoying Marvel Rivals more than we expected, and it's a joy to play on the Steam Deck. After an initial couple weeks of launch, details for Season 1 have been revealed, dubbed ‘Eternal Night Falls', and players won’t need to wait long to experience it, as it kicks off on January 10!

Dracula, with the support of Doctor Doom, seizes his chance during Doctor Strange's disappearance, tapping into the dark power of Chronovium to stop the moon. Without the sun, Dracula unleashes his legions to overrun the city. With New York City at the brink of collapse, it is up to the players to fight back.

Three new maps will be added during the season in New York City: Sanctum Sanctorum and Midtown first, and Central Park in the second half of the season.

Season 1 will also feature an all-new game mode entitled Doom Match. In this mode, 8 to 12 players will battle each other to the death. There is also an all-new seasonal event: Midnight Features, where players can complete the seasonal activities to unlock new limited-time rewards, including exclusive galleries, costumes, and more.

Also, starting January 11, Marvel Rivals is introducing new Twitch Drop exclusive rewards, including the Hela: Will of Galacta cosmetics.
