In Marko: Beyond Brave, players will step into the shoes of, surprisingly, Marko, a young warrior who uncovers a secret power hidden within. Armed with a large greatsword, an even bigger mustache, and some elemental powers, you will have to face mythical creatures and forge your own alliances to restore the balance.

You will be exploring the beautifully hand-drawn 2D world of Zagora which was done in a frame-by-frame style and is inspired by Slavic mythology. The world of Zagora contains lush forests, crumbling castles, and the odd trap, corrupted creature, and bosses inspired by Slavic Legends.

The game is a metroidvania, so you can explore the map as you please, and with over 100 rooms to explore, it's sure to be an adventure. You'll be forging your own weapons, meeting friends, and uncovering an ancient story as you play.

Marko: Beyond Brave launches on Steam on September 17th, 2024. A demo is already available to download on Steam.

It will have full controller support, and the system requirements shouldn't pose a problem to the Steam Deck, so this could be an ideal game to add to your portable metroidvania catalog.
