Len's Island is one of the few games that has been on my radar ever since it was released into early access in 2021. It's a dungeon-crawling open-world RPG with real-time combat where you will build and defend your home while also taking part in more relaxing activities like farming and fishing. And with co-op multiplayer on its way for the full release, this is going to be an awesome game to play. And now, it will be even better on the Steam Deck, thanks to the newest update!

The new update implements a majority of the gamepad overhauls the team wanted to implement before the 1.0 release, and that includes specific Steam Deck tweaks. The UI and cursor navigation, as well as overall controls. We also have some new systems for selecting the hotbar, navigating inventory, and moving the camera around to make it all much better for controllers and the Deck. It's a fantastic improvement and should make playing on the go significantly nicer.

There were some balancing changes and bug fixes with the update as well. There are no more ammo requirements for small and large ballistas, a lower enemy spawn rate during the night and harvest moons, enemies will no longer target beds, and fish items will no longer disappear from your hotbar.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via the Steam Community Post.

Len's Island is 20% off on Steam for $23.99 until September 20th and is rated Steam Deck Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, and needing to manually configure graphics settings to perform optimally.
