It's hard to deny just how wonderful it is to see Kingdom Hearts finally make its way to Steam. I have been a fan of the games for so long, and to see them here has been such a treat. While the games have been released on the Epic Games Store already, coming to Steam is a big step and one that makes it significantly easier to play on the Steam Deck. While we had the incredible opportunity to review all of the games, which was a dream come true, they still hadn't gotten that green Verified checkmark, but it looks like that has changed!

This morning, both Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue got the Steam Deck Verified badge, officially entering them into the green checkmark crew. While we did review both 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and confirmed how great they are on the Deck, it's still nice seeing both of them get the official seal from Valve.

As for Kingdom Hearts 3, which we also reviewed, there is no rating for it yet. It is harder to run than any of the games included in the other two collections, but it's still very playable! We do recommend 30 FPS for the most stable experience, but it can handle upwards of 50 if you sacrifice enough of the visuals and are okay with fluctuations here and there. Regardless, I would be surprised if it didn't get a green checkmark either.

All the Kingdom Hearts games are on sale on Steam until July 11th, ranging from $34.49 to $41.39 individually. You can also get them all together for $68.99, which trims about $50 off of buying each of them separately.
