Cornfields are scary, huh? One game aims to capitalize on this undeniable fact, Harvest Hunt is prowling its way onto Steam this May, aiming to bring a new horror rogue-lite experience. Every harvest season, the residents of Luna Nova are threatened by creatures that seek to devour them. A warden is assigned the duty of protecting the residents and ensuring their survival through the harvest season. The previous warden's time is up, and the next warden, is you!

Check out just what your tasks will be in this gameplay trailer:

Harvest Hunt looks a bit more involved than your general run-of-the-mill horror game, so it's interesting to see how the storyline and all these gameplay mechanics work together to create a cohesive experience.

Every night you will draw cards to determine your abilities, as well as modifiers that may help or hinder you. They can affect both your environment and the Devourer.

Discover the secrets of Luna Nova as you brave this harsh land, survive the Devourer's attempts to slay you, and survive the harvest season.

Harvest Hunt will be available on Steam this May. A Demo is currently available on the Steam Store. It has full controller support, but as it's a few months away from release, we can't say how well it performs on the Steam Deck yet.
