Football Coach: College Dynasty Gets UI Improvements for Steam Deck

I have been seeing more football/soccer management games pop up in my feed recently, and while I haven't played any of them, I am getting more and more tempted as I see them. Today, a new one popped up for me called Football Coach: College Dynasty, and it looks extremely interesting, especially with the Steam Deck improvements from the latest update!

The developer, Coach Apps, finally got a Steam Deck and was able to try the game out on the smaller screen. So, with this new update, they could optimize a bit for the smaller screen. For now, this includes a couple of UI element changes, which include dynamic resizing, more compact play cards, and some text adjustments to make them fit more easily without the need for wrapping.

Besides that, the update adds the ability to create and export custom recruiting classes. There were also minor improvements, including the improvement of number displays to be more consistent, new notifications and buttons for favorite offensive and defensive plays, and a new help button on the Steam Deck for uploading custom universe files.

Football Coach: College Dynasty is available in Early Access for $14.99. It is rated Steam Deck Playable due to some small in-game text, but per reports, the game runs quite well on the Deck regardless!
