Endless Legend was a pretty fun time when it launched all the way back in 2014, offering what I found to be a fairly unique approach in the genre, and now, 11 years later, we're getting a sequel! Amplitude Studios has just announced that they're working on Endless Legend 2, and it's launching into Early Access in Early 2025, so we don't have long to wait.

In Endless Legend 2, you'll be playing on the planet of Saiadha, an oceanic world where the changing seasons bring with them a dramatic change in landscape, with the tides constantly adjusting, revealing new landscape features and hidden secrets to uncover. Be careful though, as some things revealed may pose more danger than you bargained for.

Endless Legend 2 will launch into Early Access with 4 factions, each with their own unique strengths and playstyles, with an additional 2 factions being added by the time the game fully launches. As the game progresses, you'll make friends and enemies while you explore this new world together.

If Endless Legend 2 has caught your attention, then you can join Amplitude's Insiders Program, where from January 30th, you'll have the chance to be selected to test the game before its Early Access release, providing feedback to the developers so they can refine the game. Endless Legend 2 is available to wishlist on Steam right now, before its launch into Early Access later this year. The system requirements might be a push for the Steam Deck, but there is some hope that it will be able to run.
