At EVO 2023, Neon Doctrine announced Drill Man Rumble, a brand new 2D fighter that will give you the chance to drill your friends.
In Drill Man Rumble, you will choose one of 11 drillers to take part in the Great Tournament to prove yourself as the most fearsome driller. You will be able to take part in a variety of single and multiplayer modes where one hit is all it takes to bring you down. Take part in the story campaign, arena mode, or the 8-player bounty mode against your friends to crush them in not only combat, but hardcore platforming challenges.
The game looks amazing so far. The vibrant, hand-drawn visuals, the quick combat, and I love fighting games that have 1-hit kills. It makes the matches not only feel quicker, but much more competitive since all it can take is one hit. On top of that, the game will have a map editor where you can create your own platforming challenges and maps to take your friends on.
Drill Man Rumble will be released in November this year and you can wishlist the game now on Steam. Looking at the minimum specs, I see no reason why this game wouldn't run on the Steam Deck and I am willing to bet it will be a damn good time too.
