Ever since its release, DREDGE has been one of my essentials to have on the Steam Deck. It runs like a charm, has a gorgeous aesthetic, and is a wonderfully addicting experience that you shouldn't pass on. However, there have been a couple of issues recently when trying to play on the Steam Deck, but it seems these will be issues no longer!

In a new hotfix that was posted yesterday, there were some issues with the Steam Deck's detection that stopped it from working in certain conditions. This has been fixed, along with a problem where 16:10 aspect ratios were considered unsupported. The aspect ratio issue is a nice one to have fixed, especially since that's the native ratio for the Steam Deck's screen and it's nice to not have the black bars there.

The rest of the hotfix consists of two other issues that were fixed. There was a problem stopping ooze spots in Twisted Strand and Stellar Basin that couldn't be cleared, and there was another issue where the Aurous Achor could be duplicated. Both of these smaller problems are now fixed!

DREDGE is on sale for $16.19 until September 30th and is rated Verified.
