Dead by Daylight and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy are Now Steam Deck Verified!

Some fantastic news today for the Steam Deck community as both Dead by Daylight and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy have both officially become Steam Deck Verified!

Disclaimer: Just because a game is verified doesn't mean it will run well on the Steam Deck. Many games that are verified have significant issues while ones that are "unsupported" run extremely well.

Dead by Daylight, for the last year, was blocked off from being accessed/played on the Steam Deck due to incompatibility with anti-cheat. Last week though, the game seemed to be fully playable and Behaviour Interactive confirmed to us that this is intentional! The Verified label solidifies this and it seems we will be able to fully enjoy the game no matter what! Check out our review to see how we optimize the game to get the most out of it.

The game goes on sale for pretty cheap, but if you can't wait, you can buy Dead by Daylight on Steam for $20 or you can go to Fanatical and use the code "FANATICAL15" to get 15% off ($17). If you have Humble choice, you can also buy from the Humble Bundle store for 20% off ($16).

In Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's case, the game was already playable, but after a couple updates that made the controller configuration fully functional and fixing the texture flickering with the newest version of Proton (8.0-2), it is now fully Verified! We haven't taken a look into it just yet, but we do know that using the community mod to bring in FSR 2.1 helps significantly with visuals and helps performance.
