Despite being someone from England, I am about to say something that may shock, confuse, or even anger you. But I never cared for the game of cricket...

That probably has no bearing on Cricket Through the Ages, however, as, despite what the game's title may lead you to believe, it's not really a sports game, I'm not even sure it's really even about Cricket, to be honest with you!

Check out the trailer, and see for yourself:

Yep, not cricket is it? Instead, Cricket Through the Ages is a one-button physics-driven game, where the objective is to... hit things... Maybe it is cricket after all?

Cricket Through the Ages boasts about presenting a 100% accurate history of the sport of cricket, dating back millennia, we see no reason to doubt them considering the evidence they've presented. With 6 game modes to play, and the ability to play solo or against a friend, Cricket Through the Ages looks sure to present a humorous and fun take on the sport.

Cricket Through the Ages launches on Steam on March 1st, 2024. There's no word on pricing yet, but the game has already received a "Verified" grade on the Steam Deck Compatibility Rating. So it should run great on the Steam Deck.
