Whenever I think about the indie scene and where it all started, my mind immediately goes to Braid. This was one of the first indie titles I recall and started the indie movement. It was made by a solo developer, Jonathan Blow, and is still one of my favorites to play. Braid Anniversary Edition was recently released, remastering the game with new levels, visuals, commentary, and more. And, with the new update released yesterday, it should play even better on the OLED Steam Deck!
The new update came yesterday and is a nice improvement for those playing on the Steam Deck. In the notes, the team mentions that they have improved support for the OLED Steam Deck model and have better support for the Steam Deck's frame rate limiter. I am unsure what the issue might have been, but an improvement is always nice.
There were also some translation and world fixes. The original Chinese translations have been restored, while World 4's audio, the ladders in World 1-1, the commentary on World 8, and World 0-0's falling through the floor bug have been fixed.
You can read the changelog for yourself from their Steam Community Post.
Braid Anniversary Edition is available on Steam for $19.99.
