You haven't got long to wait for BLEACH REBIRTH OF SOULS to hit Steam, with the game launching on March 21st. But until then, we're getting a steady stream of information on the game from Bandai Namco, and the latest trailer gives us plenty to look at, as it reveals some of the gameplay mechanics you'll be using as well as some of the game modes you can play.

Check it out:

BLEACH REBIRTH OF SOULS lets you take your favorite characters from the anime into battle, such as Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, and Uryu Ishida. The battle system is designed to show off each character's playing style and their strengths. You'll be able to use your character's spiritual energy (Konpaku) to pull off their special moves and unique attacks known as Spiritual Pressure Moves.

A variety of other moves are also available to the player, whether they be follow-up attacks to start a combo against their opponent, defensive moves in order to interrupt an opponent's attack, or unleash a powerful Kikon Move which can destroy your opponent's Konpaku.

Looking into the game modes on offer, you'll be able to battle against real-world opponents in online battles, play through the storyline of BLEACH from the Substitute Soul Reaper arc to the conclusion of the Arrancar arc in the game's story mode, and you'll also be able to fight alongside your friends locally in co-op matches.

Plus, the game will feature a mission mode where you can try out different difficulty levels to put your skills to the test and get some experience.

BLEACH REBIRTH OF SOULS will launch on Steam on March 21st, 2025. You can wishlist the game now. We don't have any word on system requirements or on how the game might run on the Steam Deck just yet.
