At my first PAX East last year, there were a couple of games and developers that I really connected with, and at the top of that list was Athenian Rhapsody. The solo dev behind the game, Nico Papalia, was such a treat to talk to, and getting a chance to see the Undertale-inspired comedy RPG up close was awesome. And with that, we now officially have a release date for the title, and I couldn't be more excited to get it in my hands soon!

On May 14th, you will explore the colorful world of Athens and check out the hilarity of Athenian Rhapsody for yourself. You will check out new places, take deep personality tests, befriend or fight opponents, take part in minigames, and experience a branching narrative where the ending changes based on the choices and friendships you make on your journey.

There's also a unique "Rhapsody System," which records your journey and saves it as a unique "Rhapsody." It records each decision, interaction, and friendship you make and puts them into a story that you can share with others. It's an awesome way to share your journey with others, and I can't wait to hear about what others do and how my friends decide to play.

After playing at PAX East, I was sold on the game, and with such a hilarious and wonderful dev behind it, I 100% recommend wishlisting it! He even had the game playable on a Steam Deck, and it played very well, so this should be a wonderful portable experience!

Athenian Rhapsody can be wishlisted now ahead of its May 14th release on Steam.
