Battlefield Studios shared that up to $70 billion of equipment and in-game real estate in the Battlefield 6 Open Beta was destroyed by the players this past week. The receipt shows the record of every shattered wall, demolished tank, destroyed jet, and leveled building, based on real-world figures.

The next phase of the Open Beta of Battlefield 6 will be live this Thursday through the weekend, allowing players to break additional stuff and unlock an exclusive “Community Destruction Skin” for the M/60. However, this can only happen if the total reaches $1 trillion in damage. Players can also participate in this destruction event in Battlefield 6.
Use #BF6Receipts and tag @battlefield to post a 30-second destruction gameplay clip to X or Instagram. After you share your Battlefield 6 receipt on the mentioned platforms, it will be available to view in a leaderboard on the Battlefield Destruction site. You will also be able to search via your username if you can't find your entry in the top 100 leaderboard. Note, the entries are set to update in 24 hours after you post your BF6 clip.
An architecture and engineering expert, Carlos Diemer, with more than 55 years of experience, was called by the Battlefield Studios to calculate the real-world cost of Battlefield 6’s in-game destruction.
Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10 for PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store).

Another one - what’s the point in covering it when it won’t work on steam deck due to EA anti cheat??
While we are primarily Steam Deck focused, we also cover general PC game news, which is why it is labeled under the "General Game News" category. We are working on how to separate this category from RSS feeds!
That’s a shame, you’ve gone from such a wonderful Deck resource into Ali here constantly pumping out generic PC news. It’s sad.
While our Steam Deck content has not changed and really has only increased, I do understand the dissatisfaction seeing the generic news so often. I will work on limiting it in the future!
