EldenRingShadowoftheErdtreeStock1

The new Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, expands the game exponentially, but unfortunately, there have been some crashes that users are reporting on Steam Deck. Luckily, this issue seems to be getting a fix directly from Valve, and it is now being tested on the preview update branch!

SteamOS 3.6.6 has just been released into Preview, and it comes with a couple of very nice fixes. We have the Elden Ring crash fix that can happen during early startup and an issue that made a slow memory leak happen during gameplay that was fixed. We also have better video playback in BlazBlue Centralfiction and increased responsiveness when the session restarts.

The new update can be downloaded from the System settings on the SteamOS Preview branch on your Steam Deck. Hopefully, this will be pushed to the stable branch soon so all users can take advantage of the fixes!
