The universe of Warhammer is immense and filled with so many unique experiences. From Boltgun's co-op first-person shooting to Space Marine's third-person slaying, there are so many ways to learn more about the world of Warhammer. With Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, we get to experience the world in a turn-based RPG format, and it fits right in with others in the series! And with the newest update, we have some nice Steam Deck improvements to make it easier to see everything in the UI.

The newest update, released two days ago, includes a solid amount of improvements throughout most aspects of the game. But at the top of the changelog, we have one bullet point mentioning that there have been a number of improvements and optimizations to the UI and fonts, specifically aimed at making them easier to see on the Steam Deck and controller interface. It's an awesome improvement, especially in RPGs like this one, and it makes it so much nicer to play.

On top of all of that, we have fixes galore! Quest lock issues have been fixed, some talents have been reconfigured, the Colonization window got some minor UI improvements, and romance scenes won't permanently change your character's hair color and outfit color. It's weird that it could happen from a romance scene to begin with, but hey, no longer will your character look massively different!

You can check out the full changelog on their Steam Community Post.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available on Steam for $49.99, but you can get it on Gamebillet right now for $31.99. The game is rated Steam Deck Playable due to small in-game text, manually configuring graphical settings to perform optimally, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard. Other than that, it should perform quite well!
