The game uses a captivating card mechanic that integrates resource gathering and crafting, to strategic card combat and character progression. This system is designed to ensure deep, dynamic gameplay, where each decision will lead players down new paths, into unexpected challenges, and finding hidden treasures. With its card-based approach, Untraveled Lands: Chantico hopes to offer a fresh twist on the survival crafting genre, ensuring that no two adventures are the same…ever!

The developers state that Untraveled Lands: Chantico combines elements of the team's favorite board and card games, which they hope will make for an engaging and appealing game.

Prepare yourself to fight against wild beasts and formidable foes, as you assemble a team of allies that will allow you to succeed in your quest of uncovering the mysteries of these ancient civilizations!

Untraveled Lands: Chantico is due to launch on Steam in Q4 2024. The game is available to wishlist now. The game will have controller support and easy-to-run system requirements, so the Steam Deck may well be a good way to play the game.
