Have you ever gone on a drive through the countryside and felt like it was a little bit too peaceful and something must be off? That is the entire premise of the car delivery adventure game Truckful. Developed by MythicOwl, you will drive through a gorgeous looking forest, completing errands for villagers, packing and upgrading your truck, and uncovering the ancient mystery from within. It sounds and looks awesome, and I am happy to report that it will be a great time on the Steam Deck!

Earlier today, MythicOwl confirmed to me that not only is the game playable on the Steam Deck, but that they will be able to hit that 60 FPS mark. Back in July, there was a post about Steam Deck compatibility that they presented, where the team shared that they were on the right track for the green checkmark and running at 60 FPS on the highest settings, but this is a full confirmation that they will be able to indeed achieve it.

They specifically mentioned that they are making sure the entire full playthrough of Truckful will be able to stick to that 60 FPS mark, which is fantastic to hear. There are so many games where there could be 1 or 2 levels that are not able to hit that mark, but it sounds like the team is taking extra care to make sure this is a great portable game to play.

I am so happy to hear this. Looking at screenshots, it looks like the game would shine on the Steam Deck OLED's screen, but also just be a great game to play on the go. I can see myself relaxing with this one on my plane ride to events, enjoying driving my physics-based truck around and discovering what is lurking in the trees. I hope this game comes out soon, because I am so ready to experience it for myself!

Truckful can be wishlisted ahead of its release right now on Steam.
