Setting the stage for more mystery and intrigue in the colorful land of Calvard, this new trailer serves as a narrative link between the events of the first Trails through Daybreak and the forthcoming sequel.

In the first installment, players witnessed the rise and fall of the mafia organization Almata, bringing a semblance of peace to Calvard. However, in this series, peace is never more than a passing delusion. And in Trails through Daybreak II, unrest has sparked once more. The latest trailer teases a startling new string of murders connected to an enigmatic crimson beast. As chaos starts to develop, different groups emerge from the shadows, each with their own goals, ranging from law-abiding detectives to morally questionable opportunists.

Van Arkride, the returning spriggan—a kind of private investigator with a morally dubious code—is at the center of it all. When an unannounced guest shows up, Van is drawn into the developing drama and begins a personal investigation that will likely delve even further into the hidden dangers and conspiracies that lie beneath Calvard's surface.

Trails through Daybreak II appears to offer fans of the series another exciting blend of character drama, political intrigue, and the rich, intricate storytelling for which The Legend of Heroes is renowned.
