It's hard to state just how great roguelike deckbuilders are on the Steam Deck. With the overall slower pace of gameplay and how long some can be, playing on the go gives us the chance to take it with us and suspend/resume as we please. And a lot of them are not super intensive, making it easier on the battery to give us a long time before we need to charge. So, when the Steam Deckbuilder sale went live, I knew it would be filled with Deck-friendly titles, and I wasn't wrong!

Most of the games on sale here are great options to take wherever you go, and you can't go wrong with any of them, but there are definitely some titles you shouldn't pass up (like Balatro)! Here are some recommendations for essential games to add to your Steam Deck library:

Balatro - $13.49 (10% Off)

Inscryption - $9.99 (50% Off)

Inscryption 1

Cobalt Core - $15.99 (20% Off)

CobaltCoreStock1 1

Backpack Hero - $15.99 (20% Off)

BackpackHero Deck

Wildfrost - $15.99 (20% Off)

Cultist Simulator - $9.99 (50% Off)

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood - $12.59 (30% Off)

Friends Vs. Friends - $4.99 (50% Off)

Loop Hero - $4.94 (67% Off)

Loop Hero 1

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution - $9.99 (75% Off)

And those are our recommendations! There are a ton of great games being offered, so I do recommend checking the entire sale in general, but I would consider these essential purchases. Especially Balatro, which is 100% worth it at full price, so any discount is a big deal!
