One of the things I love most about the Steam Deck is how customizable it is. Software-wise, we can install whatever programs and launchers we want, as well as customize the interface thanks to the Linux OS. Hardware-wise, we can swap out parts internally and customize how our devices look. One of the best ways to do this is by swapping out buttons, and there are now buttons we can put in that are made of stone!

Deck Buttons is one of the best producers of Steam Deck replacement buttons, and has created another set that I wouldn't have expected. They made a new set of buttons that were created from stone. The mineral material has been fitted into molds for the buttons, with a gentle texture and some subtle color variations. Looking closer, the buttons do appear to look like some stone texture as well, which is really cool. The buttons have also been improved over the stock buttons. The Menu and Quick Access buttons are raised a bit to improve usability, and the DPAD has improved diagonal accuracy.
The set of Stone buttons for the Steam Deck is usually $65, but is currently on sale for $60. It's only available in the US and is currently sold out, but stock will hopefully come back soon. I think the idea of buttons made of stone is intriguing and I really want to try them for myself. I haven't had the pleasure yet, but hopefully soon, I will be able to!
