Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is one of the few games this year that has brought back some of my favorite memories of growing up. It's just good, brutal co-op fun, and I loved it. It is a bit hard to play on the Steam Deck, which is a shame right now, but it's still cool that it works. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case recently when the game stopped launching on the Deck, but it seems that problem is no longer happening!

In a new hotfix launched about an hour ago, we have a couple of fixes to issues plaguing the game, including the launch issue that has been happening on the Steam Deck and Linux devices. This is fantastic, and while it isn't the greatest to play on the Steam Deck right now, it is possible if you can deal with the drops, so having the option is really nice.

There were also some issues with crashes, dynamic resolution, ultrawide screens, and upscalers that were patched up! If you were experiencing any heavy stutters while playing, check again after this patch since it seems some CPUs were causing these. It's a small patch overall, but a very welcome one!

You can check out the full changelog on the Focus Entertainment forum.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 can be purchased on Steam for $59.99, but you can save $10 on it by buying from Fanatical for $50.15! The deal only lasts until tomorrow though, so get on it quickly.
