Looking for a reason to get a Steam Deck, but want to save as much money as possible? Well, now may be the perfect time to do so! For a limited time, Valve has put two of their older Steam Decks, the 64GB and 512GB LCD models, on a 15% off sale, bringing them down to record-low, cheap prices that make it hard to stay away from!

So, you can get:

  • 64GB LCD Steam Deck - $296.65
  • 512GB LCD Steam Deck - $381.65

Both the models are 15% off until July 11th, making them an amazing deal for anyone looking to get into handheld PC gaming, and being able to get a Steam Deck for under $300 is insane. These are two older models that Valve is phasing out, so they are only available while supplies last. So, if you haven't yet, I would rush and get these as fast as possible!

While you aren't getting the glorious OLED screen, you are still getting a fantastic device that has a similar size with great battery life and similar power to the newer models. It has that 1280x800 screen with a 40Wh battery. Each comes with a carrying case, but the 512GB has an anti-glare screen and some extra goodies for your Steam profile. The SSD for the 512 is an NVMe, while the 64GB model uses a eMMC, which is a little bit slower. Luckily, you can open up the Deck and replace the SSD, so this isn't a big issue.

Honestly, the 512GB for under $400 is an incredible value. Both of these models are less expensive than other consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X while also being able to play most PC games and emulate other consoles. The 64GB is even cheaper than a Nintendo Switch right now, and the library is significantly larger. There is more configuring, of course, but in the end, it's so worth it.

You can purchase both Steam Deck models on Valve's website.
