Become the King when Skull Island: Rise of Kong Releases on October 17th

Ever wanted to become a giant gorilla that strikes fear into the hearts of all who see you? Well, now you can in Skull Island: Rise of Kong, launching on October 17th.

Taking place (unbelievably!) on Skull Island, this third-person action-adventure game puts you in control of King Kong before he was a King. This is the first time in almost 20 years that we've had the chance to play as King Kong.

Promising to explore the origins of King Kong himself, Skull Island: Rise of Kong will lead you through how the iconic gorilla came to rule over Skull Island, beginning with the death of his parents. Throughout the story, you will explore Skull Island, find secrets and collectibles, and fight creatures loyal to Gaw, the Saurian responsible for Kong's parents' deaths, using combo attacks to defeat them. As you play, you will gain new abilities and become stronger, working towards your ultimate goal of defeating Gaw himself.

Skull Island: Rise of Kong will be available to pre-order on Steam from October 6th for $39.99, with the Colossal Edition available for $49.99.
