Roguelite City Builder "Super Fantasy Kingdom" Joins the Hooded Horse Family

Roguelite games are one of the types of games I can never get enough of, so I am quite excited for this one! Super Fantasy Kingdom, a roguelite city-building game from solo developer Feryaz Beer, has been signed to a publishing deal with Hooded Horse, the renowned publisher known for their strategic and tactical games. To celebrate, a gameplay video was released, showing what you will be able to expect when the game releases next year:

As shown in the trailer, you will pick a hero, assemble you team, and defend against hordes of monsters. You will have to balance defending, building, and exploration to succeed, but this is a roguelite, so each loss will bring more success in the next runs after. You will be able to assemble defenders from hundreds of choices that grow as you uncover more of the world, but choose carefully since some of these choices can synergize with each other to become even more powerful. There are also some base building components that connect with the other aspects of the game to expand what you are capable of doing.

Super Fantasy Kingdom will be releasing into Steam early access in 2024 and you can wishlist and download the demo now on the store page. And with full controller support and cloud saves, I will be looking forward to seeing this on the Steam Deck!
