For the last couple years, one of my go-to party games has been Moving Out. The game is simple, you and friends need to work together to move people out of their homes. With a physics-based system, you will have to carry furniture to the moving truck in wacky areas, like on a plane, in space, and so much more. Moving Out is by far and large one of my personal favorites, so seeing how well the sequel's demo is running on the Steam Deck makes me extremely happy.

Moving Out 2 looks to take the game even further with the inclusion of inter-dimensional portals, allowing you to trek to new places to help anyone move out. Pair this with a new cast of characters, assist modes, new skins, many new challenges, and online multiplayer, this looks to be a fantastic evolution of the game and one I can see being the first game I suggest when I have friends over for a gaming session.

On the Steam Deck, the demo for Moving Out 2 was running at around 10W - 11W drain with a solid 60 FPS. This is already quite great for a game like this, but add in the fact that this is a demo, which isn't as optimized as the full release, and we are impressed. Overall, playing the demo left me feeling even more excited to play this on-the-go thanks to how well it runs without needing to change a thing! Hopefully, the game sticks to this or gets better as I can see it being an essential for multiplayer sessions.

Moving Out 2 can be wishlisted on Steam right now and the demo is still available! Download it for yourself and try it out, you won't be disappointed.
