Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a short adventure, but possibly one of the best so far. It's deeply emotional and filled with insane moments, with a great opening to the next mainline game: Infinite Wealth. Today, the developer, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, announced that an English dub is on the way in a new free update coming this month. This was announced via X (formerly Twitter) from the developer's official account.

While I do love the original Japanese voices for the game, and they have become iconic, having an English dub version is a nice alternative. Recently, an alternative English dub was announced for the upcoming Infinite Wealth, along with a trailer. It definitely set me back a little at first seeing Kiryu talking in English with a slightly different voice, but that's because I grew up with one type of voice from him. I assume the game would have the same English voice as the one in Infinite Wealth as well, so I am curious to see it.

There is no definitive release date for the update just yet, but it will be sometime this month. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is available now and is very playable on the Steam Deck. I am finishing up my review of it now, but it is very fun and enjoyable here! If you are on the fence about it, trust me, it is worth it to dive in, though if you want the full story, which I highly recommend, you should start with Yakuza 0.
